I will help anyone who needs help with a pet. I know a lot about fish, dogs, cats, frogs, hermit crabs, and a lot more.

Just a question because I'm curious. I know hermit crabs need to stay moist, do you need to have a bowl of fresh or salt water in their tank/cage?

Hi. Sorry I wasn't replying. You need to spray the tank with bottled water to keep the tank humid. You want one salt water and one fresh water bowl. Make sure it isn't too deep, because land hermit crabs can drown. Even so, you want it to be deep enough so they can totally submerge if they wish. Basically, get one that is designed for their size. So, if you have a small hermit crab, the dish usually says "small" on it. I wouldn't suggest putting those sponges in the bowls, because the hermit crab could get stuck in it, and it wouldn't be able to step into the water.

Yup. Have fun with them if you get them! Make sure you don't get one with a painted shell and get more then one in a ten gallon tank. I am not a crazy hermit crab lady, if that's what you're thinking.

You should get more then one guinea pig. Also, they cosrt more then first thought. IT might cost $250 a year for one, including all supplies.
