Okay, this is for ELA. it was Due yesterday so it has to0 be really good. Cuzx i need an A!

Dear Mutti,
You wouldn't like it here. At first, they made us wait on this big boat. (Which we have been on forever.) Then, when we finally got off. They made us strip down into nothing! Then walk onto a long, deck like thing, called a Pier I think. They sprayed us with a sick, foul liquid. Then they put us on a train.. (Do you remember the Train? When they marched us onto it? Anna was crying because of that stupid goat.. And because of you, they separated you from us. I still remember the horrified look in your lovely green eyes.) When we got there, shabby wooden fences, barbed wire running round the rim, sprinkled with spikes, armed guards at every entrance and exit. I thought for sure it was a trap. But, surprisingly. No. I am writing this, (a month and a half later) from my dark, faded green army cot. It isn't very comfortable.
They tell us we are "safe". But i do not believe this. They too, Will turn on us. Like the Nazi's.
We, Meaning all of us girls(Including Hedwig, remember her? Who i always used to drag around with me on my Minnie "adventures" before all of this?) got dresses. Mine is a faded red short sleeved dress with a white over coat.
I have to write in American. It is very hard, I get many words wrong.(So i apologies for any wrong spellings or wrong sentences.) But hardest is how to read. like through and trough don't sound like they spell.
The food here is NOT kosher. They feed us PIGS! Filthy pigs!! (Freida, a nice lady I met on the train says when we get out she will hold a large, kosher, barbecue. I do not know this word. I know very few words. But Leah does, She knows many. Leah wheres blue pinafore, and she goes to learn the piano with Freida. I know this because I watch her while Max, Fridas husband, teaches me to draw "cartoon" mouths. Max has big strong hands. Like Papa.

Dear Mutti,
I'm sorry that its been so long since I last wrote. Ive been so busy.
# First.
I met a boy named gerulf. Hedwig has a huge crush on him.
# Second.
I got very bad cold. (But, thats all it takes right? Thats why they killed Anna. So I told no one.) But, I got better.
# Third.
Frieda has been teaching me a new song. I cannot say the name though.
# Fourth (And last).
Yesterday they had a squishy red, jiggly thing. It tastes good. Hedwig told me about a dream she had about it. The lunch lady called it jello, what a silly name.
They never have fresh Cream, I miss our goat, her milk always warmed my belly. Anna Loved her too, She always dressed her up in that yellow cotton blanket. I hate yellow now, as much as I hate the ugly, mustard yellow felt stars. Oh, how I miss you. For all I know, you could still be in a camp. Now alone, I am alone. Arnt we all?

Dear Mutti,
I miss you, I miss you. Last night, I had the worst memory.(inside my dream.) It was of you first, then Anna. I opened my eyes to the train. I latched onto your hands. Hoping, that maybe, if i held on tight enough, you wouldn't leave. I screamed your name. Over and over. But you where ripped from my childish hands.. I Screamed again and reached out. I nearly touched you. But oddly, you turned to small particles of sand. Flouting around me, turning dark in some areas, lighter in others. Soon, I recognized the scene. Anna, her pale face, her arm limp. I watched as another me, a doppleganger, formed out of these particles. We both gasped. She darted out screamed for a guard. I sat down, trying to close this out. Trying to stop her death from happening again. But i had to watch. A young, handsome guard walked in after the dopple ganger, an ugly sneer ruining his looks. HE dragged Anna out by her hair. Ripping long, Black locks from her small head. The doppleganger screamed and leaped over her, trying to stop this from happening. I did the same. I melted into her and the dream became, at once, all to real and vivid. He slapped me away with the hilt of his gun. Blood welled up inside my mouth, I swear i could literally taste it. He kicked and beat Anna, HE eye's where swollen and blood poured from her head. I cried out her name many times. He loaded his gun and Aimed. We both screamed, begged. She gave me one last look, alook that said, "How could you?" He pulled the trigger, the shot was loud and painful to my ears. I Stared at her small form. Numb. I got up and started walking inside, her screams ringing and ringing in my ears. Even when I woke up.
It was my Fault.

Dear Mutti,
Today is my birthday. Can you believe it? I'm alive. I lived to be thirteen. But so many others haven't.
My "American Friends" gave me many sweets, and one girl, Named Cammy, invited me over! (As Hedwig always points out) I got lost on the way to her house. I am prone to getting lost.
Gerulf gave me an apple. And you, best of all. May be coming. You're alive. I'm alive. Hedwig's alive... You know. I think I WILL like America, but I will never fully trust it. I do not think I will ever trust again.
Ive finally got the cartoon mouth right. But my writing is still untidy, s you can see. But I am getting better.
I'm trying my best to learn English. Ive learned a new saying. _Whipped_ cream. like fresh cream. but not fresh and sugary. Like Ada, the goat. Like Anna... everything reminds me of you and Anna and Papa. I still remember the way they hit Papas head with the hilt of a gun, the sickening crunch it made. I still refuse to tell any one anything. Like my foot, the door slammed on it. But I remember Anna. Who got the flue. Who I told on.So I kept my trap shut. Sometimes i wake, screaming your name, unlike Hedwig, who dreams of Jello. But one day, You and I will be together again. Of this I am sure. I will feel safe, I will feel secure. For the first time in what seems like forever. I will feel loved.

Hedwig is making me get a new dress. She knows I love red, but, instead, She gets me blue. She claims they had No red. Therefore, I will maker her where Orange. And a bow. A big, ugly, Orange bow.
As I write this, Hedwig stares at my eyes, she is odd.
Hm. I will make Gerulf where green, and a green bow. He doesn't want to where one. But he will.
